Last Updated: December 3, 2025

District Fore (“District Fore,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to providing transparent choices about how your personal information is collected, used, and processed. This Opt-Out Preferences Policy (“Policy”) explains your rights and the methods available for opting out of specific types of data processing under GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, VCDPA, CPA, CTDPA, UCPA, and other applicable privacy laws.

1. Opt-Out of Cookies & Tracking (via TrustArc)

District Fore uses TrustArc as our Cookie Consent Management Platform to provide compliant, user-controlled opt-out functionality.

A. Cookie Categories You May Opt Out Of (Where Legally Applicable)

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may opt out of:

  • Analytics cookies
  • Functional cookies
  • Advertising/tracking cookies
  • Non-essential performance cookies

TrustArc automatically enforces:

  • GDPR opt-in (non-essential cookies blocked until accepted)
  • U.S. opt-out (tracking disabled upon user request)
  • Logging of consent preferences

B. How to Opt Out

Use the TrustArc Cookie Preferences Center located in the footer of every page to:

  • Disable specific cookie categories
  • Withdraw consent entirely
  • View which cookies are active
  • Update your preferences at any time

C. Opt-Out Signals & Global Privacy Control

Where required by law (e.g., California under CPRA):

  • District Fore honors browser-based privacy signals, including Global Privacy Control (GPC).
  • When detected, advertising/tracking cookies are disabled automatically.

2. Opt-Out of Marketing Communications

District Fore may send email communications only when legally permissible (e.g., with consent or legitimate interest).

A. How to Opt Out

You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by:

  • Clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any email
  • Emailing us directly at info@districtfore.com

Opting out of marketing emails does not affect service-related communications, such as:

  • Replies to inquiries
  • Administrative notices
  • Security alerts

3. Opt-Out of Data Sales or “Sharing” (U.S. State Laws)

District Fore does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

However, to remain fully compliant with California (CPRA) and other U.S. state laws:

You may request to opt out of any activity that could be construed as:

  • “Selling” personal information
  • “Sharing” for behavioral advertising
  • Targeted advertising
  • Profiling or automated decision-making

Submit your request by emailing info@districtfore.com or by adjusting preferences in TrustArc (for cookie-based tracking).

4. Opt-Out of Profiling & Automated Decision-Making

Where required by law (e.g., GDPR, Colorado, Virginia):

You may opt out of:

  • Automated decision-making
  • Profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects

District Fore does not use automated decision-making systems that affect your rights.

However, you may submit an opt-out request to info@districtfore.com if you prefer no automated processing.

5. Opt-Out of Analytics Processing

If you wish to prevent your data from being used for analytics:

You may:

  • Turn off Analytics Cookies via TrustArc
  • Use browser-level blocking
  • Use global privacy controls

Analytics cookies will not load unless permitted by your chosen settings.

6. Opt-Out of Third-Party Tracking

Third-party tools (e.g., analytics or embedded content) may set cookies or process data.

You may fully opt out by:

  • Disabling cookie categories via TrustArc
  • Blocking third-party cookies at the browser level
  • Using browser add-ons designed to block tracking

TrustArc provides a real-time list of third-party cookies that may be active.

7. Opt-Out Under GDPR (EEA/UK Users)

Under the GDPR, you may object (opt out) to processing based on:

  • Legitimate interests
  • Profiling
  • Direct marketing

Submit requests at info@districtfore.com.

We will:

  • Stop processing unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds, or
  • Cease processing when the objection relates to marketing

8. Opt-Out Under CCPA/CPRA (California Residents)

California residents may opt out of:

  • Sale of personal information
  • Sharing of data for cross-context behavioral advertising
  • Automated decision-making
  • Use of sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary

District Fore already limits all data processing to essential functions. You may still submit a CPRA rights request at info@districtfore.com.

We will respond within the required statutory period (45 days, extendable once).

9. Opt-Out Under Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut & Utah Laws

Residents of these states may opt out of:

  • Targeted advertising
  • Sales of personal data
  • Profiling
  • Non-essential processing

You may submit requests at info@districtfore.com.

Where legally required, we will provide an appeals process if a request is denied.

10. Cookie & Tracking Opt-Out for Minors

District Fore does not knowingly collect data from users under 16 and does not use tracking technologies intended to identify minors.

If you believe data was collected from a minor, contact info@districtfore.com for deletion.

11. Verification Requirements (U.S. Compliance)

To protect your privacy, we may need to verify your identity before processing certain opt-out requests.

Verification may include:

  • Matching your email or phone number
  • Confirming recent interactions
  • Other legally permitted verification steps

We will never require account creation for verification.

12. Processing of Opt-Out Requests

Once an opt-out request is received:

  • Website tracking preferences update instantly via TrustArc
  • Marketing email opt-outs take effect immediately or within 48 hours
  • U.S. state law opt-out requests are processed within statutory timelines
  • GDPR objections are assessed and responded to within 30 days

13. Future Tracking Technologies

If District Fore adopts additional tracking or advertising technologies in the future:

  • TrustArc will automatically categorize them
  • Non-essential cookies will remain blocked until consent is given
  • Users will continue to have full opt-out control
